1. This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Use of this website.

Collection of personal data

2. Where personal information (such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address) is submitted to the site by the user (e.g. through sending an e-mail) the following principles are observed in the handling of that information:

  • No information is specifically requested on this web site – all information received by Ambienté Day Spa is voluntarily submitted;
  • Ambienté Day Spa will not use the personal information submitted for any other purpose other than the efficient provision of services, including this web site, without obtaining the prior written approval of the user or unless required to do so by law.
  • Ambienté Day Spa will not disclose any personal information regarding a user to any third party unless the prior written agreement of the user is obtained.
  • If information is released with the user’s consent Ambienté Day Spa will retain a record of the information released, the third party to which it was released, the reason for the release and the date of release, for a period of one year.
  • Ambienté Day Spa will destroy or delete any personal information which becomes obsolete.
  • Note that, as permitted by the ECT Act, Ambienté Day Spa may use personal information collected to compile profiles for statistical purposes and trade in these profiles. No information contained in the profiles or statistics will be able to be linked to any specific user.

Collection of anonymous data

4. In order to provide the best possible service, Camelot uses standard technology to collect information about the use of this site. This technology is not able to identify individual users but simply allows Camelot to collect statistics.
5. This web site utilises temporary or session cookies that collect the first level domain name of the user. This means that if your e-mail address is user@email.com, the cookie will collect the “email.com” part of the address.
Cookies are small pieces of information sent to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s hard drive. Temporary or session cookies expire and are deleted when your browser is closed.
Cookies by themselves cannot be used to personally identify users.
If necessary users can alter the manner in which their browser handles cookies.

6. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the privacy practices of any third party sites to which hyperlinks may have been provided and we strongly recommend that you review the privacy policy of any site you visit before using it further.

While reasonable measures are taken to ensure the security and integrity of information submitted to this site, Camelot cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any loss or other damage sustained by a user or users as a result of the intentional or accidental release of information by an employee of Camelot or any third party.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment to allow adequate time to change and avoid reduced treatment times.
Spa treatments need to end on time and as scheduled. Late arrival will result in shortened treatment time to accommodate the next guests’ booked time. Treatment charges will remain unchanged in these circumstances.


The treatments you select and book for are reserved especially for you. A 24hour cancellation notice is required. Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. This can be faxed to 086 554 2697.
Appointments that are made and not attended will result in a full change against the booking.


Treatments, packages and gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be exchanged for other treatments. A credit note will be issued at the sole discretion of management where deemed suitable.
The Spa is also not liable for lost or stolen gift vouchers.
Prices are subject to change without notice. We accept cash and all major credit cards. All prices include VAT.

Payment & Gratuities

For payment, we accept cash, debit cards and all major credit cards – with proper identification. Gratuities are not included and are at your own discretion and recommended at 15%-20% of the final treatment cost. Gratuities are to be paid in cash to relevant staff – Gratuities cannot be included in gift cards, debit or credit card payment for services.

Gift Vouchers

Ambienté Day Spa gift vouchers are non-refundable. Gift vouchers should be used within 12 months of purchase or as noted on the expiration date. Vouchers may not be used to purchase or be exchanged for other voucher, treatments, products or cash. The Spa cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers. In order to protect gift voucher identity, please have ID available when redeeming the voucher.

Health & Hygiene

Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that could affect your treatment or service when making your Spa reservation. The Spa will not take any responsibility in reactions or affects caused by uninformed decisions on treatments or products. In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene, our equipment is cleaned and sanitized after every treatment and service.

Right of Refusal

Ambienté Day Spa reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct. Inappropriate conduct or language during a service will result in immediate termination of the service. Ambienté Day Spa reserves the right to define inappropriate conduct.
Personal hygiene at Ambienté Day Spa will be held at high priority; Treatments can be refused to guests if their personal hygiene is at an offensive state or can cause health risks to therapists and other guests. Ambienté Day Spa reserves the right to define the above mentioned states.

Property Loss or Damage

The Spa will not take responsibility for any loss or damage of personal articles. Valuables must be kept in the closed and locked locker provided or with the client during the visit.
